Baby CoCo is 3 Months Old

My sweet girl is 3 months old today. Oh my precious Chloe, why is she growing so fast? I feel like it was just yesterday that we came home from the hospital. Mimi drove us home since daddy was working and GiGi stayed with us a few weeks to help with the late night feeding and sleep routine. We were so blessed with all the help and support we received. Even now Mimi and GiGi still do so much to help out and you are one lucky girl, Chloe. This month has been filled with holiday fun. We went and took photos with santa...twice. Once by herself and the other with her cousins. We also celebrated her first Thanksgiving. Since Christmas is just a few weeks away we put up our Christmas trees and there's even a small one in Coco's room. I've so enjoyed creating the memories. We also discovered that Chloe love to hear mommy read, She loves books! She's started to blow spit bubbles and is constantly sucking on her hands. (Which mommy isn't a fan of) some days she sleep 6 hou...

2 months old

So hard to believe that my sweet baby is two months old. It feels like just yesterday I was bringing her home. These past two months have flown by and we have made so many memories together.  Every day I've been able to spend with her has truly made my heart happy. I love being a mommy to my sweet CoCo. These past few weeks we have made a few shopping experiences, mommy even learned that chloe loves to sit in the carrier better than in your car seat/stroller when we shop. We spend a lot of time with GiGi and George, we are so blessed to have them so close to us. We went to our first pumpkin patch and took some adorable photos together. We also experienced our first Haloween together. We both dressed up as bees and it was precious. She was my baby bumble Bee. 🤗 Chloe is growing so fast and her long body makes it heard to wear all the cute newborn stuff that Sofie wore. She fits into 3 month old clothing pretty. Seeing her in 3 month clothing makes This momma sad. Just means that b...

1 month Old

My sweet girl is 1 month old. As I reflect on how blessed I am  to have her here I can't help but to think of the day I first held her. I'm one to strongly believe that God's plan are always bigger than ours and this was shown the day all my L&D plans went out the window. On Sept 8th I was induced due to being diagnosed with gestational hypertension. When I became 38 weeks pregnant my blood pressure continued to rise very high especially for someone who's blood pressure was usually around 115/70. So when I went in for my 40 week appointment and it was 156/84 my doctor suggested that we do not wait and that we schedule an indcution the next day. Although all I wanted was to have this baby "naturally" I trusted my doctor and his plan. So on Thursday 9/8/2016 at 4:30pm we began the process. My plan was to not have an epidural and to try and have this baby as natural as possible. . Unfortunately after almost 30 hours I was not able to dilate past a 7 and...

School Year 2016-2017

Well I survived the first week of school at 38 weeks pregnant. It seemed like a loooooong week but with the help of my team we all pulled through. I have 20 cute little 2nd graders this year thus far and I look forward to helping them grow. This year it's Sara and I and new team mate, Kathryn. There are lots of changes this school year and I miss a lot of the staff that is gone, but change doesn't have to be negative. It's all in the way we perceive it. I found a new long term sub when things didn't workout with my last one (talk about stressful) but I'm thankful that I have a new sub and she's already came to meet the kiddos. I just pray and hope that the kiddos get the love, education and discipline they deserve. I technically only have 1 week left before my due date on the 4th of Sept. But if CoCo decides to take her time I'll continue to work till she makes her appearance.  My team on our first day of school.  Before pic of my classroom. So thankful for ...

Analisa and James Milestones

How can it be that my sweet niece is now 6 months and my handsome nephew has started kindergarten? These two are my first little loves. I still remember clearly the first day I held both of them in my arms. I loved them from the minute I laid my eyes on them.  Both of them have taught me so much and have prepared me to become a mommy to my sweet CoCo. I look forward to the day when the 3 of them play, laugh and share many memories together.  I already know that If James is anything like my brother CoCo and Sofie are going to be taken care of and protected. Let's just hope the girls don't give James too hard of a time like Jenni and I did to Josh.  Sofie's 6 month photos.  James first day of kinder.

The Hoof Mansion

So Jeremy and I have loved living in our new home. Of course my favorite thing about our house is my beautiful treeline in my backyard and the cows. 🐮🐄However, I wanted to share some photos of the rest of the house that is complete and decorated.  I love my beautiful home and I feel so blessed that Jeremy and I have this home together. Our next room we are working on is CoCo's nursery so I'm sure there will be a new blog in a few weeks to show off baby girls room. 💕 My fav. treeline in my backyard.  My cows! Well not really but they are basically in my backyard. 🐄 There's the little "Pooper"relaxing in our living room. 🐶 Our breakfast nook, I love our bench seating. When we spoke to our designer I  almost started crying when I told him how much i wanted the bench seat because I pictured my kids sitting on it. Hahah (I was about 10weeks pregnant then)  Our game room, gotta start working on my Pool Game.  Our beautiful Patio that I can't wait to enjoy when ...

Bohemian Baby Shower

All I can say is I fell so blessed to have shared such a special day with so many beautiful women. My Parents planned a beautiful baby shower for my little "cupcake" it was all I could ever want.  My parents and sis and I worked hard planning, making props, ordering things, purchasing items to make my house look and feel beautifully bohemian. And my sweet friends Priscilla and Jackie (Bee) offered to help with hosting and setting up. I honestly am so lucky to have such great friends that I consider sisters to step in and help to make this day special. I love them both so much!  I enjoyed having my CG girls at my shower, my in laws, my crazy Terrace Friends, and all my other wonderful guest. Even Jeremy made an appearance and hung out for a little bit,  which meant a lot. The fact that we're able to have this celebration in our new house too was just perfect. I know Jeremy wanted the house to look and feel perfect and it did! He also played a huge role in my baby shower by...

Working Out and Pregnancy

I had always been involved in cheerleading and gymnastics as a kid. However I never grew up in the "gym" setting. It wasn't until I turned 20 that I started going to the gym, lifting weights etc. I became a certified personal trainer and master fitness specialist because I love the fitness industry that much. I always knew working out and fitness would be a huge part of my life but I never knew thought that one day i'd be pregnant and still working out.  I joined this amazing outdoor bootcamp in June 2014, called Camp Gladiator. I can honestly say, it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. One of the trainers who encouraged me to attend the class was actually an old coworker from 24 hour fitness where we trained clients. When I found out I was pregnant in December 2015 I was a little hesitant as to what I'd be able to still do, could my body handle the outdoor temps in Texas? would it be safe for the me and the baby to continue with this bootcamp? So ...

8 months pregnant

Okay so I've totally suxed at updating this blog, between finishing up the school year, all the new home improvements and changes and not to mention I'm 32 weeks pregnant.  Things have been going well with the pregnancy. I can't believe I'm only 8 weeks away from meeting sweet Chloe. Yup that's her name, Chloe Elizabeth Hoofnel. I had a 4d sonogram done at 27 weeks and she looks so much like her daddy already. Makes my heart happy, to see that my sweet girl looks like her daddy, because I love him so much.  I had my maternity photos done last week and I love them.  I decided to do a bohemian theme photo shoot and my parents and sister did a wonderful job at helping to stage the props, the teepee a, dream catchers outfits etc. I'm so blessed to have them here to help out. Veraya did my photo shoot in our backyard. (My favorite part of my house) Even Jeremy decided to be a part of some of the pictures which made me so happy. Here's a link to a flipgram with so...
