When Jeremy and I first started dating we would go to neighborhoods and look at houses being built, and just imagine what it would be like to own a house of our own together. It was always one my favorite "dates" with him. we would talk about the specific changes we would make to the house to make it unique and we would pick other houses apart. Being with him and looking at houses always felt right. :)
A year ago around my birthday I remember Jeremy saying he found this community that was building Shaddock homes (which was always one of my favs) so I went and checked out the model home and fell in love. Then when Jeremy showed me the lot he wanted for us, it literally felt perfect.
I didn't think we'd actually be blessed enough to start the process of building a home and ending up with what is truly our Dream House. We both have worked so hard to be able to accomplish this goal that we reached out for and I thank God for blessing us with this beautiful house, that hopefully will be filled with precious kiddos and lots of love, laughter and memories.
I can't thank my husband enough for all of his hard work in his career in order to provide such a beautiful place for us to live. He designed several aspects of our house that he envisioned in his head and they all came out wonderful. I love every inch of our new home especially my beautiful back yard. I can not wait to move in and begin this new chapter in our lives.
Then a few days later they put the frames up, j had to walk it with me and explain it to me. Lol 😜
When all the framing went up you could see how special this house was going to be.
And our beautiful Caststone in the entrance.
Our little house was coming together.
Then came the back yard, Jeremy decided that we should clear all the brush, dead trees, and trash and we ended up with a beautiful view of our pond.
I adore the view of our pond from the back yard. I love seeing the sun set and the cows drinking the water. It's like a little view of heaven.
Love love love my bathroom
Our beautiful home.

It's beautiful! I can't wait to see how you decorate!
ReplyDeleteOne mistake I wanted to share with your readers was to never use a family member as your realtor. It does not matter how much they promise they will save you, when it comes to family, you will not be able to push or make your family member work as hard as you want a professional realtor to work, just avoid that scenario if possible.
