4 and 5 month old Chloe

My baby girl is 4 months old, today we took her for her doc appointment.   Although I'm so happy that my baby girl is healthy and growing it makes me so sad that as soon as I know it my baby won't be a "baby" anymore.
This month baby girl is in the beginning phases of teething, lots of slobbery bibs and at time fussy baby. We transitioned her into her own room and she has done great. She's even sleeping longer throughout the night. The first few nights were torture for mommy, I spent most of my night staring at the baby monitor. We celebrated Chloe's first Christmas and New Years and jeremy and I celebrated our first Christmas morning together in our new house with Chloe. It was so special to open gifts as a little family.  She had her first sleep over at Mimi and Pa-Paws House. She has officially outgrown 3 month size clothing and is wearing 6 month clothing. I have enjoyed watching you grow my beautiful baby.

5 months
What? 5 months? That's almost half a year, how did that happen? My sweet girl, this has been a challenging month for us. I got a viral infection that later turned into a sinus infection. I was down for the count for a week and half. Thankfully my mother in law kept her while I was contagious and let me rest since it felt awful! My parents also helped out a lot too. Words can't express how thankful I am to have such amazing inlaws and parents. About a week after I got sick my sweet CoCo got an ear infection. This is her first ear infection, my poor baby. I had to work so her GiGi and George took her to the doctor and helped take care of her. Both of us were on Amoxicillin for 10 days. Although I would've rather had the pink stuff than the big horse pills. Since I got sick and then Chloe got sick we have had issues of getting Chloe back into a sleep routine but we are trying and we are slowly getting back there. Although some nights I do love when I get to hold her in my arms and have her fall asleep next to me. I love to watch her and just think about how incredibly blessed I am to be her mommy.

I thank God for my sweet girl and pray that he continues to keep her healthy and happy for many, many, many years. She is my everything.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July!  Today ended up being an impromptu family day and it was so much fun. Since 4th of July ended  up being on a Wednesday we didn’t have anything planned since J had to work yesterday and will work tomorrow as well. So we were just going to hang out at my moms house, but then over a stream of text this morning we ended up making plans to go to Fort Worth and spend the day there with my sister’s family.  We stopped on the way @cousinsbarbecue it was our first time to eat their food and it did NOT disappoint. We ordered chicken, ribs, sausage and chopped brisket, along with fried okra, black eyed peas and slaw. The fried okra and ribs were my absolute favorite but honestly all of it was delicious. When you head to Fort Worth don’t foreget to check out  Cousins Barbecue We spent some time ...

Our Dream Home

October 21, 2015 When Jeremy and I first started dating we would go to neighborhoods and look at houses being built, and just imagine what it would be like to own a house of our own together. It was always one my favorite "dates" with him. we would talk about the specific changes we would make to the house to make it unique and we would pick other houses apart. Being with him and looking at houses always felt right. :)  A year ago around my birthday I remember Jeremy saying he found this community that was building Shaddock homes (which was always one of my favs) so I went and checked out the model home and fell in love. Then when Jeremy showed me the lot he wanted for us, it literally felt perfect.   I didn't think we'd actually be blessed enough to start the process of building a home and ending up with what is truly our Dream House. We both have worked so hard to be able to accomplish this goal that we reached out for and I thank God for blessing us with this beaut...

8 week Results

I’ve officially been taking Ketones for 8 weeks so here’s my update! Since my last measurements done 4 weeks ago I’ve only lost 1.2lbs but my total weight loss since starting ketone has been 5.2lbs! Which is pretty amazing! However I’m not too worried about the weight loss because as you can see I’m loosing inches y’all! In these past 4 weeks I’ve lost a total of 4.6 inches which means in 8 weeks I’ve lost about 8in total. I’m seeing results physically but let’s also talk about the other benefits, I still love the energy the Ketones are giving me, I only take one pack a day in the morning and can fast until about  11am  (Lunch time) , basically fasting for 16 hours. One day I plan to do a 24 hour fast while only taking ketones. I’ll let y’all know how that goes.  Sleeping has been amazing, and what’s crazy is I can remember my dreams now, although some I’d rather forget. My cravings continue to decrease, maybe it’s the fact that now I know how many carbs are ...
