I recently decided to make some changes in my life that needed to be done. I was stuck in a rut , not working out consistently, not eating right, just doing the bare minimum to hopefully maintain the weight I was at or to not gain more weight. That’s when I decided i no longer wanted to feel/look this way. I decided to switch up my workout routine and try something different. I went to Orange Theory Fitness, the coach; Cyley was so fun, so motivating and the class was challenging and different. I was hooked, I joined the same day. I also decided to use the Transformation App to help get a strength training routine down that I could do at home. I met a very sweet lady named Liv who inspired me and encouraged me to try keto supplements. She walked me thru the process, was very informative, never pushed them on me until she gave me all the info I needed and was there for my questions. I started off with a 10 day pack. I was so impressed by the flavors of them and then I started to feel and notice the physical changes of taking Ketos and adjusting my diet to a low carb diet. Those of you who know me, know that I use to eat candy, chips and sweets daily! I would focus on calorie intake and not really care where those calories were coming from. So by adjusting my diet to low carb was a huge change for me but honestly now, 4 weeks in to this lifestyle change I don’t crave those sweets anymore, there’s still candy in my house that I don’t even eat, and if I want a piece of candy I limit myself to 1. Same with chips, if my husband is eating them I’ll have 1 or 2 just for the taste but I don’t feel the need to overindulge anymore. I fuel my body with healthy fats, and proteins. I don’t drink coffee with lots of sweeteners, cream or whip toppings. I get my caffeine thru my morning keto drinks. Taking keto supps have given me energy, made me feel fuller, have helped me to sleep better and overall I just feel better mentally and physically.
Happy 4th of July! Today ended up being an impromptu family day and it was so much fun. Since 4th of July ended up being on a Wednesday we didn’t have anything planned since J had to work yesterday and will work tomorrow as well. So we were just going to hang out at my moms house, but then over a stream of text this morning we ended up making plans to go to Fort Worth and spend the day there with my sister’s family. We stopped on the way @cousinsbarbecue it was our first time to eat their food and it did NOT disappoint. We ordered chicken, ribs, sausage and chopped brisket, along with fried okra, black eyed peas and slaw. The fried okra and ribs were my absolute favorite but honestly all of it was delicious. When you head to Fort Worth don’t foreget to check out Cousins Barbecue We spent some time ...
